EDINBURGH, Scotland – Aviagen^® Anadolu had the pleasure of hosting Mr. Ömür Oral, owner of Orallar A.S. (Avex), at the new Elmapinar hatchery, which has been fully operational since October 2024. This state-of-the-art facility represents a significant milestone in Aviagen Anadolu’s commitment to excellence in poultry production and providing a sustainable source of protein to the local market.

Orallar A.S. (Avex) is a leading supplier of day-old chicks (DOC) and hatching eggs (HE) for both domestic and export markets, and was the first company to receive Ross^® 308 Parent Stock (PS) from Elmapinar hatchery’s current production.

During his visit, Mr. Oral observed the hatchery’s advanced construction quality, gaining a firsthand insight into the meticulous processes that ensure the highest biosecurity standards and production of the best quality chicks. He explored every stage of production, from egg storage to setting, hatching, chick handling and dispatch. Additionally, Mr. Oral was able to see Aviagen Anadolu’s chick truck, which is equipped with advanced climate control technology to maintain optimal environmental conditions during transportation.

The highlight of the visit was Mr. Oral receiving the first chick from the Elmapinar hatchery, marking a symbolic moment in Aviagen Anadolu’s journey of delivering superior quality genetics. This visit reinforces the strong collaboration between Aviagen Anadolu and Orallar A.S. (Avex), as we continue to set new standards in poultry production and customer satisfaction.
