EDINBURGH, Scotland – Aviagen^® Kft is proud of its customers across the region, who continue to show the results that can be achieved when strong Ross^® genetics are optimized with skilled management, teamwork and dedication.

A standout example is longtime Slovenian customer Pivka Perutninarstvo d.d., which recently welcomed 10 of its broiler farmers into the prestigious Ross 420 Club. This honor recognizes producers who achieve a European Performance Efficiency Factor (EPEF) of 420 or higher.

These growers had 16 farms that exceeded the 420 EPEF milestone, with Miran Tratar reaching an impressive 446 EPEF. This farm was joined in the Ross 420 Club by fellow top-performing producers:  Uroš Tomažič, Martin Jejčič, AGRIPER d.o.o., Ivan Fabčič, Vladimir Rupnik, Branko Štrajhar, Marko Cigler, Karl Plut and Jurij Premrn.

Last month, Aviagen Kft’s Krisztina Németh, Sales Manager, and Dejan Bosanac, Regional Technical Manager, joined the Pivka team to personally recognize the growers’ accomplishments. The event was a great opportunity to share experiences and best practices, strengthening the close relationship between Aviagen, Pivka, and their growers. In a spirit of Breeding Success Together, the group explored practical ways to further optimize performance, welfare and sustainability with Ross 308 broiler flocks.
